Babetown is made from Squalane Oil – for our Babe-a-licious formulation. We have opted for an Olive Oil based one (as opposed to Sugarcane).
In skincare, Squalane helps increase the skin's hydration by adding additional moisture and it will also help prevent moisture loss. Our body naturally produces squalene however in our twenties we sadly we don’t produce the same levels and this is why squalane can be such a great addition to your beauty routine.
Squalane Oil will tackle any dryness, premature aging, fine lines and help plump up the skin. It’s known to help replenish the skin to it keep it smooth, conditioned and hydrated. It’s also great at protecting your skin from UV damage.
Now squalane oil can be sourced from Sharks Liver to create some cosmetics and medicine. Using squalane sourced from sharks is against our values. We use the plant derived squalane because we love our animal friends and opt for vegan friendly glowness instead AND we adore this product’s performance.

Glowtown is made from Cannabis Sativa Seed (Hemp Seed) Oil which as its name suggests it comes from the seeds of the cannabis plant. It’s obtained by pressing the hemp seed and doesn’t contain THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) the psychoactive that gives the high effect.
Hemp Seed Oil is suitable for all skin types, especially those with acne prone or sensitive skin. It’s a nourishing oil that will moisturise the skin without clogging the pores and causing breakouts. It will help balance oil production in the skin whilst keeping it hydrated. Plus it will also help reduce acne that is caused by excess oil.
As it contains a range of fatty acids, hemp seed oil is a powerful anti-inflammatory that will help calm sensitive or irritated skin.
